My Journey
I’m Waleed Khaled
I started my career back in 2009.
Since then, I’ve worked across telecommunications, industrial, retail and distribution, facility management, e-commerce and cloud services, insurance, agriculture, and technology, in local, regional, and multinational organizations, including leading regional payroll operations across six countries at Amazon.
Along the way, I built HR functions from the ground up, led HRIS implementations and organizational change, redesigned structures and authority matrices, and created performance, compensation, onboarding, and culture programs that connect people strategy to business results.
Today I’m Head of HR, where I sit on the company’s strategy committee as a business partner to senior leadership.
My Philosophy & Approach
I believe great organizations are built on people, structure, and clarity. HR creates real value when it stops being an administrative function and becomes a strategic partner to the business.
I focus on balance: strategy and execution, structure and culture, business results and people’s growth.
My role isn’t to hand you a generic framework, but to understand your business and build what fits it.
With hands-on experience building HR functions from the ground up, leading change, and developing teams, I work alongside you to clarify priorities, fix what holds performance back, and put practical systems and skills in place that your people can carry on after I leave.
